Applying through this site takes about five minutes and four steps: a short online form, an income check through a read-only bank connection or your pay records, a lender match that ends in a written offer with the fee in dollars, and an e-signed agreement funded by Interac e-transfer. The form itself runs on the application platform we work with.
What to have ready
You need four things before you start: a Canadian chequing account your pay is deposited into, your employer's name and pay schedule, a working mobile number and email, and government photo identification.
| Item | Why the lender needs it |
|---|---|
| Chequing account with employment deposits | Income verification and the account the e-transfer lands in |
| Employer and pay cycle | Sizes a payday loan to about half of one net cheque and sets the due date |
| Mobile number and email | Verification codes, the agreement and the e-transfer notice |
| Photo identification | Name match and proof you are 18, the age of majority in Ontario |
Step 1: the application form
The apply button on any page opens the platform's form, which takes about five minutes and asks for your address, employer, pay frequency, the amount you want and your banking details. Applying is free and puts no hard inquiry on your credit file. Ask for what the cheque supports: a warehouse cheque of $1300 net every two weeks usually means an offer of up to $650, not the $1500 maximum.

Step 2: income verification
Most lenders confirm income with instant bank verification: you log in to your online banking through a secure read-only connection, the lender sees about 90 days of deposits, and the connection closes. It takes about a minute and cannot move money. Pay stubs and bank statements work instead, but a person has to read them, so add a business day.
Payroll from a food processing plant, a distribution centre or Brantford General Hospital reads cleanly because it lands on the same weekday every cycle. Agency pay reads as a real job with an uneven amount, and cash you deposit yourself reads as a transfer until you show the stub behind it.
Step 3: the lender match and the offer
The platform sends your application to licensed lenders whose rules fit your income, amount and province, and each lender that wants your business sends an offer in dollars. A payday offer states the amount, the fee, the total to repay and the due date. Federal regulation caps that fee at $14 per $100 borrowed, and the lender must show its own figure before you sign. The loan options section on the homepage compares the two products.
An installment offer, for $500 to $10000, states the APR, the payment amount, the number of payments and the total cost, and the APR must sit at or under 35%. See the installment loans Brantford page for payments by amount and term.

Step 4: e-signature and funding
You sign the agreement on your phone and the lender sends the money by Interac e-transfer, which lands within minutes with autodeposit and otherwise waits in your email to be accepted. Payday lenders mostly send during weekday business hours; installment lenders read the credit file first and usually fund the same or next business day. The e-transfer loans Brantford page covers bank cutoffs and weekends.
How long the whole thing takes
From the form to money in the account, a payday loan usually takes an hour or two during weekday business hours.
| Stage | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Form | About 5 minutes |
| Bank verification | About 1 minute, or a business day with documents |
| Lender review and offer | Minutes during business hours |
| E-signature | A few minutes |
| E-transfer arrival | Minutes with autodeposit, up to a few hours without |
A form finished on the GO bus back from Hamilton on a Friday evening usually waits for Monday morning; one finished after a night shift on Oak Park Road funds once the lender's office opens.

If no lender makes an offer
A decline is nearly always about the income or the account rather than the credit score. The usual causes are no regular employment deposit, a new chequing account, a run of NSF charges, a payday loan already open elsewhere, or an amount larger than the cheque supports. The bad credit loans Brantford page lists the real hard stops.
Your rights after you sign
Under Ontario's Payday Loans Act, 2008 you can cancel a payday loan at no cost within two business days of signing, the lender cannot roll it over or open a second loan while the first is outstanding, and a third loan within 63 days must come with an extended payment plan. Consumer Protection Ontario takes complaints when a lender breaks those rules. The about page explains how this site earns its fee.
